PLAKTON was founded in 1990 by Valentin Berbel in Alicante, a southern region of Spain. As the business grew successfully, his friends Paco Mora and Jesus Pedrajas joined him, and the company was officially established in 1995.

PLAKTON is a specialized manufacturer of comfort sandals, known for incorporating cork soles that offer exceptional comfort, while also paying attention to style by using a variety of footbeds and outer soles.

The outer soles are made primarily from reinforced rubber blends, offering both slip resistance and durability — combining practicality with thoughtful design.
